HFHMC 52nd Home Dedication - The Espy Family

We at Pidge Industries are proud to be a local corporate sponsor of Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County Illinois. We were able to participate in a recent home dedication and present a certificate for one of the first production model Pidge devices. We are committed to a total of five devices for Habitat homeowners, helping them invest in safe drinking water for them and their loved ones - making a house a home.

Are you concerned about trace pharmaceuticals and other biological or organic materials in your drinking water?

The patented Pidge and the Pidge Eagle Personal Advanced Water treatment devices are the solution that keeps the vital nutrients in your water and requires no replacement parts or the manual addition of chemicals.

According to the World Health Organization, when it comes to removing trace pharmaceuticals in water, "Conventional water treatment processes, such as chlorination, can remove approximately 50% of these compounds, whereas more advanced treatment processes, such as ... advanced oxidation, ... can achieve higher removal rates.

LOCAL STARTUP COMPANY STEPS FOOT ONTO WORLDWIDE STAGE WITH PATENTED INNOVATIVE PERSONAL WATER TREATMENT SOLUTION

Huntley, IL - Pidge Industries, LLC, an Illinois Limited Liability Company, is proud to announce that its patented Personal Advanced Oxidation Water Treatment Device is gaining some worldwide attention on two significant fronts - being featured at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, and as a grant applicant with the MacArthur Foundation’s latest grant program, “100& Change”.

CES: Pidge Industries has been invited to showcase its prototype device at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada January 5-8, 2017. Specifically, Pidge Industries will be in Eureka Park (Booth 50435 at the Sands Exposition Center), a special section of the CES wherein selected companies can introduce new and innovative consumer products to the world. Eureka Park is described by the Consumer Technology Association, promoter of CES as “... the flagship startup destination at CES, providing a unique opportunity to launch a new product, service or idea.”

MacArthur Foundation’s 100&Change Grant: In the summer of 2016, the MacArthur Foundation announced a new and unique grant - 100&Change. The concept is to award a single grant of $100 million to one worthy recipient for a project that can change the world, addressing a global issue. Pidge Industries was one of over 7,000 registrants to consider applying for the grant. In early November, over 1,900 of these applicants submitted full grant applications. Pidge Industries was recently informed by the Foundation that it had passed the administrative review process, which reduced the number of remaining applications to 800. The top 10 semi-finalists are to be notified in Mid-January.

Michael J. Fleck, Esq., co-inventor of the patented water treatment device, and Vice President/Chief Technical Office for Pidge Industries states, “We are extremely honored to be given these two significant opportunities to introduce our water treatment system to the world. Fresh, safe drinking water is indeed a global issue and solutions need to be made available to as many people world wide as possible in an effort to ensure that this vital resource is readily available to all. Pidge Industries is looking to be a leader in this arena so that safe drinking water is no longer an urgent crisis.”
